currently.

{top, halloween 2012; bottom, greek food fest 2012}

Listening . . . to Taylor Swift's Red album (which I unashamedly love), Christy Nockels' Into the Glorious, and Mumford and Sons' Babel

Watching . . . Hart of Dixie, college football, and not too much else. We just finished our season of scary movie watching (an October tradition) and soon it will be time for White Christmas and It's a Wonderful Life. Until then... any TV recommendations, preferably something I can watch on Netflix?

Reading . . . This weekend was full of reading on the couch wrapped up in a quilt; basically, my version of heaven. I read Joshilyn Jackson's A Grown-Up Kind of Pretty in one sitting -- so very, very good -- and wrapped up Divergent in a couple of days. Next on the list? Half the SkyInsurgent, and The Secret Keeper.

Eating . . . lots and lots and lots of soup and crockpot meals. It's also nearing clementine season; we've got those in the kitchen for quick snacks. This chocolate chip scone recipe is also fun (and not nearly as intimidating as it looks).

Drinking . . . yard-drinks, of course.

Wearing . . . boots and sweaters, but my new favorite thing would have to be these shoes, which I paid a pretty penny for. They're incredibly comfortable and perfect for my new gig working retail.

Feeling . . . happy and content. I love my job, love our home, and love our friends. Life is really good right now, and since this year has had its ups and downs, I think that deserves recognition.

Wanting . . . to buy a new planner for the year. Events for 2013 are already coming in, and I've yet to find an Erin Condren coupon online, which means I may have to shell out the full $50. That seems excessive, until I remember just how much I actually use my planner. Looks like I may have to bite the bullet.

Needing . . . to plan out my Christmas shopping. How is it already November? I feel so far behind. Plus, this month we'll be celebrating our fourth anniversary and Jordan's 27th birthday. So much to celebrate! I'm also desperately needing to get back into some type of devotional/meditation/quiet-time routine, and more exercise wouldn't hurt either. I'm trying a couple of new things this month; I'll let you know how they go.

Thinking . . . about planning a spiritual retreat for the new year, about Christmas gifts and birthday plans.

Enjoying . . . Sunday sabbaths. Candletime. Movie nights with Jordan. Yard drinks. Life.

I shelled out for an Erin Condren planner for the first time last month (adding in the last few months of this year to it) and I am obsessed with it. I use it constantly. I did find one coupon online when I bought it that took about $5 off, which I guess is something...

Love everything about this post! "A Grown Up Kind of Pretty" was so good! I just tried maybooks for the first time for my new planner, mainly because I didn't want to shell out $50 again. They are a lot smaller but still super cute and some of the patterns are retiring so they are on sale!

Sounds like you're in a really sweet season of life, friend! I'm right there with you on needing to plan Christmas shopping/making. It snuck up on me. Time to break out the giant spreadsheet :)
Also, "Feeling . . . happy and content... I think that deserves recognition" <-- it definitely does!!!! Contentment is huge, and I know it takes a lot of purposefulness, work and heart-change to get there, so hooray for that! I say soak it all in, be greedy with that contentment. (Which really isn't being selfish at all - I think contentedness fuels us up to love and serve others.) Another season, and change, will come again eventually, and for now I think you're doing a fantastic job of soaking up this season. (I hope that all made sense... it's early and I've only got one cup of coffee in me, ha.)

I just heard about "Call the Midwife" from the BBC and am pretty sure I'm going to love it.

Do watch and report back.

Glad that life is going well! Are you on the E.C. email list. Coupons pop up on there pretty often.

just a little food for thought: you seem really, really happy (not that I've ever met you or hung out with you, but still ;) ) I am happy that you are experiencing little and big joys!

I am SO in love with TSwift's album Red. Like seriously. Obsessed. :)

Divergent was SO good. Excited to get my hands on Insurgent.

Have you seen the new show, Ben & Kate? It's on Hulu and is really funny! Simple, funny, mindless television. And if you haven't already, the Downton Abbey is amazing. Loving it.
