“Nerds are allowed to love stuff, like jump-up-and-down-in-the-chair-can’t-control-yourself love it . . . . When people call people nerds, mostly what they’re saying is ‘You like stuff.’ Which is just not a good insult at all. Like, ‘You are too enthusiastic about the miracle of human consciousness.’”

Hi Annie :]

been a reader since a year back, always look forward to your updates everyday!

really hope that I don't offend anyone with what I'm saying next. i might be wrong. Am still learning *small smiles*

you have been talking alot about boundaries recently and I do agree with it. One thing I guess is that there is this expectation (why i am not sure) of Christians always being there. Being there to volunteer for events; being there for friends always with a smile, hug, a catchup; being there for all church related events, being there to save the world *;]* and more. And sometimes we try to do it all. So much so that we forget to take care of ourselves whilst going around helping or doing things for everyone else.

It is awesome to be out saving the world/helping others, but maybe when you start to feel tired & unloving/unkind, remember that yes, its important to love and care for others, but remember that God too died for you and He loves you. We can't help others if we are tired and unloving.

One reason why i love your blog is simply because you are real. You quit, you love, you cry, you say no, your house is messy (for now!)... just like me.So thank you for being real! So real, and so in love with Him.
