Some people are dog people.
And I guess, some people are no-pet people.
After months (actually, if my archives are accurate, after over a year) of waiting and passive searching, a dog came to us.
As, I might add, the best things usually do.
She wandered right into our friends' home, friendly but confused, lost and looking.
They graciously sent her our way, and we're thrilled.
She came a little bit older, house-trained, crate-trained. She sits. Plays hide-and-seek. Goes for walks. It's amazing, really.
(As most things in this life are.)
So now, we are dog people.
I kind of like it. I am grateful for it. For her.
Oh, yes. And the name (because names are important).
Her name is Junie B.

I long for that wandering dog day!
How cute! I loved Junie B. Jones books when I was growing up!!
Confession time. Chris and I are no pet people. Everyone tells me I should get a puppy for when Chris deploys but really, if I'm going to spend time, energy and lots of money on something... I just want a baby. I'll let the animals go to awesome owners like you!
(Junie B. is super cute and I'd love to play with her... just not own her.:)
I was waiting for this post. Cheers to Junie B . No doubt she is an awesome dog. Now, she has found an awesome family too.
Okay, now that you have an awesome dog you need to buy this from LL Bean:

Jackson is getting one for Christmas. A tag and chip is great but this collar seems to be another way or protecting your pet from getting lost.
love, love the precious Junie B; welcome to dog world!
