I'm...I had to laugh at your second book choice. I'm always interested in picking up Mormon fiction (just to see what it's all about!), but I know that I'll be frustrated by narrow portrayals. Stick with real-life Mormons and genuine Mormon bloggers--they'll give you the best idea of what it means to be Mormon. (It means all kinds of things, and definitely not the same for every one of us.) C.Jane is a favorite of mine too.

I really do love when you do book reviews. I'm really into historical nonfiction lately, so I may have to pick up The Devil in the White City.Brittanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15882610343505172301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1183263500164049344.post-91552895274696269272012-07-03T08:45:53.028-04:002012-07-03T08:45:53.028-04:00i loved curious incident! i love pretty much anyth...i loved curious incident! i love pretty much anything by mark haddon - he has a way of really getting into his character's heads - i recently saw him interviewed on the bbc and he's a pretty humble, unassuming guy, or so he seemed...

i also get strangely interested in mormon culture, maybe because it's partly similar to my own and then completely different at the same time? hmmm.brie.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09221057552309257405noreply@blogger.com
